We are excited to introduce Adelyn Ho, a dynamic and talented piano instructor joining us for a special series at The Village Kids' Club. Adelyn's remarkable musical journey and academic pursuits make her an exceptional addition to our team, bringing a fresh and inspiring approach to piano education.
Adelyn is currently pursuing a dual degree in Piano Performance (B.M.) and Business Administration (B.S.) at Chapman University, where her talents have been recognized with the prestigious Dean's Scholarship. Her foundation in music was laid at Mission San Jose High School in Fremont, CA, where she excelled in AP Music Theory, Music Production 1 and 2, showcasing her versatile interests in the field.
Her accolades in music are impressive. Adelyn has completed the Advanced Level of Certificate of Merit with honors and successfully passed Panel Auditions, demonstrating her high level of proficiency and dedication to piano performance. She has graced the stages of Salmon Recital Hall at Chapman University and the Lafayette Library and Learning Center, among others, captivating audiences with her piano chamber music and solo recitals. Additionally, her participation in the U.S. Open Piano Competition highlights her competitive spirit and commitment to excellence.
Beyond the piano, Adelyn is skilled in other musical disciplines. She has played the drum set, contributing her rhythm talents to a band, and viola in the Mission San Jose High School Orchestra, with performances at Ohlone College. Her involvement in music is not just limited to live performances; she has also engaged audiences through social media by posting covers of songs.
Adelyn's teaching experience extends beyond music. As a Code Sensei at Code Ninjas in Fremont, CA, she has taught kids basic coding, assisted with homework, and created educational lesson plans, underscoring her ability to engage with young learners effectively.
At The Village Kids' Club, Adelyn will be offering piano lessons as part of a special series.
